Dr. Dakota Baugus is the Pullman practice owner. He grew up in small-town Pottsboro, Texas. After graduating from Pottsboro Highschool, he attended Austin College where he received his BA degree. He married his high school sweetheart and they both moved to Dallas, Texas where he attended Texas A&M University College of Dentistry and received his DDS degree.

Dr. Baugus and his wife needed to leave the hustle and bustle of big city living behind and wanted to get out of the triple-digit heat in Texas. They both fell in love with the nature and beauty that Washington State had to offer during their travels, thus leading to a 4-day drive to Pullman, Washington.

Dakota enjoys meeting new people and creating personal connections, which was one of the many aspects of dentistry that he fell in love with. He is dedicated to helping each patient achieve better health and improved self-confidence. Patients are very comfortable and relaxed in his care knowing they will receive a personal and fulfilling experience each visit.

When Dakota is not in the office, he likes to spend his time hiking, snowboarding, and fishing with his wife. He is also an avid Hockey fan and is looking forward to the expansion team coming in 2021, but will always be a Dallas Stars fan. He and his wife enjoy the outdoor lifestyle and are looking forward to their new journey in Washington State.
